Pioche Announcements 

New Baby Center at Caliente Elementary and the Family-to-family Connection has activities every day for parents, both new parents and those with more than one child.  They talk about safety, what to do in an emergency, development stages of your baby, and more.  Call 726-3325 for details.  This is a public service open to everyone in the community.

Family to Family has a lot for parents to do and learn.  They regularly have story hour, discussion groups with different timely themes, exercise classes, home visits, baby play day and more. For details contact them at the new Baby Center at Caliente Elementary 726-3325.  The center is open from 8 am until 2 pm Monday through Thursday at 300 Lincoln Street in Caliente.

1st Sunday of Month Breakfast is open to the public at the VFW Post 7114 home on Dixon Street in Calinete.  The Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW Post 7114 will be serving Breakfast on the First Sunday of the Month starting at 8:30 am until noon,  the Post Home.  Complete Sunday Breakfast including juice, coffee, tea, or milk.  $4.00 per person.  VFW canteen will also be open.  Everyone welcome.

RPEN Meeting is changing places. It will still be held regularly on the third Saturday of each month at Hansen's in Caliente, Starts at Noon.  Hope  to see you there. Meetings will be held 2005.  Jan. 15, March 19, May 21, July 16, Sept. 17, Nov 19.

Caliente Senior set Mondays for exercising and card games, Tuesdays for pinochle, Wednesdays for exercises and crafts, Thursdays for Bingo, and Friday for exercises.  They have a monthly pot luck the last Friday of the month at 5:30 pm at the Olson Senior Center.

Line Dancing open to the public.  All adults of all ages interested in line dancing and free dance instruction please call Irvin Wright in Panaca 726-4662 or Gywn Perkins in Caliente at 726-3594.
