Spring Valley State Park 


Eagle Valley Reservoir-located northeast of Pioche in Spring Valley State Park. This is a popular park for fishing and camping, and with good reason as camping facilities are excellent and fishing is good due to normal stocking by the Division of Wildlife. Again this year large numbers of rainbow trout will be stocked through Memorial Day. Expect fair action in early spring for browns. 

Beaver Dam State Park

Located in rugged canyon country near the Utah state border, it is Nevada's most "out of the way" State Park the reservoir is stocked annually with Rainbow trout. No fishing report available!  

Echo Canyon State Park  

Echo Canyon Reservoir-located east of Pioche in Echo Dam State Recreation Area. There should be good success this spring for stocked rainbow trout with largemouth bass and white crappie fishing getting underway by Memorial Day. With water runoff expected to be below normal this year

Cathedral Gorge state park

 
Cathedral Gorge is located in a long, narrow valley where erosion has
carved dramatic and unique patterns in the soft bentonite clay. Trails abound for exploring the cave-like formations and cathedral-like spires. Miller Point, a scenic overlook just north of the park entrance on U.S. 93, offers excellent views of the scenic canyon. Shaded picnic areas and a tree-shaded campground area are open all year.
